SOMA Hosted Color Mind Demo Day Showcasing the Future of Color Control

The event showcased the SOMA Color Intelligence ecosystem for ultimate color control on press. SOMA Color Mind enables on-press color correction with reduced waste and faster setup. Innovative Anilox Management delivers full visibility into anilox conditions and ensures consistent color performance. The result is maximum efficiency—and perfect color in every print.

During the live demonstrations, visitors experienced the complete Color Mind workflow on the SOMA Optima² flexographic press, where two spot colors were corrected to color targets selected live by the audience. The demonstration featured challenging Bouncing Challenge print design, demonstrating perfect registration while maintaining a consistent impression at top speeds. Visitors also had the opportunity to see the S-Mount automatic plate mounting system in operation and automated press make-ready using IRIS technology.

The program also featured presentations by SOMA specialists and Aura, a global packaging sustainability consultancy, covering topics including color standardization, process optimization, packaging sustainability, pre-press workflows, and intelligent automation.
