SOMA Strengthens Latin American Presence with First Sale in Brazil

This achievement is the result of our long-term commitment to Latin America and the steadily growing interest in SOMA solutions across the region, where our presses and converting technologies are already supporting many converters in multiple LATAM markets. Building on that success, TRIA Rótulos has become our first Brazilian customer, choosing SOMA to support its next stage of growth in flexographic label production. Founded in 2012 and based in Marialva, Paraná, TRIA specializes in the production of roll labels in BOPP, laminated films, and sleeves, printing in flexo up to eight colors for markets such as beverages, hygiene & cleaning, chemical, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, oils, and dairy.

At this important moment, we would like to explicitly thank Roberto Custódio and
Leandro Sacoman, owners of TRIA Rótulos, for their trust in SOMA. Their confidence clearly demonstrates that TRIA’s decision to invest in SOMA technology is the right one, positioning the company for sustainable growth, higher productivity, and long-term competitiveness.

The sale was successfully completed through our Brazilian representative, CORAS DO BRASIL Representações e Comércio Exterior LTDA, with a key contribution from Marcio Carraro.

The equipment package includes an Optima 650-880-8 EG flexographic press and an
S-Mount A 1300 automatic plate mounter. This combination delivers high-performance multi-color printing together with fast, precise automated plate mounting—reducing makeready time and waste while improving consistency and productivity for demanding label applications.
