Born and educated in Poland, Marek is a packaging aficionado with over three decades of experience. With a strong background in pre-media, color management, and workflow automation, he has expanded his education at renowned institutions such as Pratt Institute, Clemson University, and most recently, MIT in Boston. Currently, Marek serves as the VP of Technology & Innovation at CSW, Inc. in Ludlow, MA. From 2022 to 2024, he also served as the Chair of the Global Premedia Network. He has been a frequent speaker and lecturer at industry and academic events since 1999, covering topics including Advanced Color Reproduction, AI Generative Graphics, Expanded Color Gamut Printing, and 3D CGI Visualization. Bouncing designs
Flexo is very promissing technology, but has one weakness. Certain designs may generate vibrations due to rotational printing process of printed and non-printed area. Therefore we developed Advanced Bounce Control system, which guarantees minimal bounces at top speeds and perfect shape of the dot.
Short runs efficiency
Jobs are getting shorter and shorter in all areas of packaging due to many reasons such a packaging personification or extended number of flavours. We developed Optima especially for quick job change-overs featuring several unique systems such as IRIS, Falcon II or Ink Cartridge.
Expanded gamut printing
Some say that the future of flexo printing is Expanded Gamut Printing (7 color fixed pallete printing, without Pantone colors). Optima, with its modern inking system and very stable dot shape due to Advanced Bounce Control is ideal for EGP. You may than benefit of:
